Lyophilization is a high-vacuum freeze-drying process that removes moisture while preserving the molecular structure of the peptide. This ensures maximum stability during international transit and allows for a significantly longer shelf life when stored under proper laboratory conditions.

For long-term preservation (up to 2 years), lyophilized vials should be stored at -20°C. For immediate research needs (within 3 months), refrigeration at 4°C is sufficient. Once reconstituted, peptides must be kept at 4°C and used within the timeframe dictated by your specific research protocol.

Reconstitution should be performed using a sterile bacteriostatic or saline solution. Allow the diluent to flow gently down the side of the glass vial rather than spraying directly onto the lyophilized powder to avoid peptide denaturation. Gently swirl (do not shake) until the compound is completely dissolved.
